Hello Beautiful!
My whole life, I’ve always felt compelled to make things. When I am shopping I often find myself saying, “I could make that…” Sometimes I’m right, and sometimes, not so much. But I (almost) always enjoy the process of trial and error.
My husband and I moved to Haverford Township in 2015 with our two talented creative daughters who both love to craft and make things. I was worried that we would find the suburbs isolating after living in South Philly for 10+ years, but the community we found in Haverford Township was a refreshing surprise! Everyone knows everybody (and their sister, and their mom). The folks here are warm, inclusive, and happy to lend a hand when someone needs support. It’s a true community, which I believe is rare these days.
I am a graphic designer/illustrator by trade and spent many years working in the Advertising Industry. I’ve also painted over 100 home portraits in our township alone. (Did I mention I love it here?)
I began hosting craft workshops in 2024 because I wanted to keep my tween daughter and her friends from spending federal holidays on their screens. The tweens and I had so much fun that I decided to add Adult workshops for 2025!
Through easy and difficult seasons, I have always found that working with one’s hands calms an anxious mind, restores balance and benefits emotional well-being. Some people refer to this as the “maker’s meditation”, or a “state of flow”.

I know the magic of making is real.
